Menu for April 18th-22nd

I'm only cooking 3 days this week. Hooray! Here's the plan for this week:

Monday
Tip: Wash your hands after making the jalapeno sauce! I didn't and thought the sauce was so spicy, then added plain yogurt to cool it off. When in fact it wasn't that spicy at all. I thought the jalapeno sauce would make a great dressing too.

Tuesday (Meatless day!)
I'm looking forward to using mint from my garden.

Wednesday

This recipe was in the Thanksgiving edition in Food Network Magazine. I'm not sure what kind of turkey I'm going to use, since I don't have left over turkey from thanksgiving. I ended up buying some turkey cutlets, which I've never cooked with before. The picture looks like it has avocado in it, but the recipe doesn't call for it. I might put some avocado in it that I have left over from Monday.

Thursday

Meeting the gang at Babe's for Muster. It's going to be quite the challenge to find something without meat there!

Friday
Heading to Katy to be with Micah's parents

  3. I'm not eating meat at restaurants. When I cook at home I try to have fish 1x per week & non-meat meal.
